These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Eco Motor website and your purchase and use of our transportation services. By booking a ride, using our website, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Our Services
Eco Motor provides luxury ground transportation in the Detroit Metropolitan area and surrounding cities, including airport transfers, point-to-point transportation, business transportation, event and party transportation, and chauffeur services. Service availability is subject to confirmation, vehicle and chauffeur availability, and the service area we operate in.
2. Reservations & Booking
- Reservations may be made through our website or by phone at 313-525-0503.
- Online bookings generally require at least 12 hours’ advance notice. For trips needed sooner, or for multi-stop trips, please call us so an agent can assist.
- You are responsible for providing accurate and complete trip details, including pickup and drop-off locations, date and time, flight information (for airport service), passenger count, and contact information.
- Price estimates shown online are non-binding and subject to review. A reservation is confirmed only after we verify availability and you receive a confirmation. Final pricing is provided upon confirmation.
3. Pricing & Payment
- Fares are based on the service type, distance, duration, stops, and applicable fees (which may include airport access fees and a suggested gratuity).
- Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). By submitting payment, you authorize the charge for the confirmed amount.
- Additional charges may apply for changes, extra stops, extended wait time, excessive cleaning, or tolls/parking incurred during your trip.
- All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD).
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Please confirm these cancellation terms reflect your business policy before publishing. The terms below are provided as a reasonable default.
- Cancellations 24+ hours before pickup: may be cancelled at no charge and any prepayment is eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup: may be subject to a cancellation charge of up to the full fare.
- No-shows: if the passenger cannot be located at the pickup location and does not respond within a reasonable grace period, the trip may be treated as a no-show and charged the full fare.
- Airport pickups: we monitor flights where flight information is provided; please notify us promptly of cancellations or significant delays.
- To cancel or modify a reservation, contact us at 313-525-0503 as early as possible. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
5. Changes & Wait Time
- Reservation changes are subject to availability and may affect pricing.
- A reasonable complimentary wait time may be provided; additional wait time may be billed at our standard rate. For airport pickups, wait time generally begins after the flight arrives and a grace period elapses.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate booking and contact information and be ready at the scheduled pickup time and location.
- Ensure the number of passengers and amount of luggage do not exceed the booked vehicle’s capacity. Child safety seats are the passenger’s responsibility unless arranged in advance.
- Behave lawfully and respectfully toward the chauffeur and vehicle. Smoking, illegal drugs, and unlawful activity are prohibited.
- You are responsible for damage to the vehicle caused by you or members of your party beyond normal use, including applicable cleaning fees.
- Eco Motor is not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle.
7. Liability Limitations
- Eco Motor is not liable for delays, missed flights or connections, or other losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, road conditions, mechanical failure, or other force majeure events.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your trip is limited to the amount you paid for that trip.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eco Motor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
8. Text Messaging
If you opt in to text messages, our messaging program is governed by our SMS Terms & Conditions. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Michigan.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised. Your continued use of our website and services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
